Finally gotten round to messaging!!!

Chris took out our old rotten wooden door & frame and replaced it with a brand new white PVC unit of really good quality.

All finished and the surroundings sealed & skimmed all in a morning.

Absolutely brilliant and a lovely bloke, really friendly and kind and willing to help with almost everything.

Great prices too, was cheaper and more importantly RELIABLE compared to someone else on this forum.

I cant recommend him enough I really cant and he will be back later on to help with other things in our house. Absolutely brilliant........

Can you fit timber windows and replace existing single glazed? I had a joiner look at this and he said he could cut out the existing panes and nail in ready made windows without losing the character (which I'm particularly keen to do on the bay window). However, he seems to be too busy to fit me in and hasn't returned my calls.

Is this something you would be interested in? It's a terrace house and there are 6 windows + a bay window that need doing.

I've got timber windows which i would like to keep/repair or replace with timber but i also need them double glazing. I understand that it's possible to cut out the existing rotten cills and replace without losing the character. Looks like you have had a similar request, how did you get on?
