A friend has recently re-homed a retired greyhound. This is his second 'placement'. When the first 'placement' broke down, and this dog came back into the Retirement Scheme, it was found that he'd been badly treated and it has taken some time and a lot of work for my friend to gain his trust. He is good with people and other greyhounds, but stresses out big style if he sees any other breed of dog, big or small. Can anyone recommend a trainer or behaviourist who might be able to offer help and advice?

Lotti had this problem with Ed, the dalmation she adopted (ok, so probablly not such an extreme case). She has learned alot about dog phsychology from reading, and chatting to other people involved in both her breed and dogs in general, and asked other forumers if they and their dogs would be willling to meet in parks or public places for socialising sessions.

She's had great success, and with none of the expense ;)

PS - could I possibly know who this person is? ;)
