As from next week I will gladly be contributing to cutting the growing problem of city congestion.
I am buying a new scooter to get me to work and back and for running about to the Gym and other personal places I visit (Hmm, I don't mean massage palors ):hihi: .
I always did this before by riding my bike everywhere but I have been unable to do this for the past 6 months and taken to the car.
This can't go on and every day I see the same old road problems the same old miserable faces stuck bumper to bumper day in day out.
I sometimes think why the hell do they put themselves through this every day, twice a day to.
If everyone bought a scooter, and I know its not possible for all but this would cut down the congestion and halt the forth coming congestion charge.
No more traffic jamms for me...

Good on you I used to ride my mountain bike to work and it was great but nearly got knocked off to many times for comfort.

Bottom line is whatever your views on the road policys by sheffield council(which btw I think are nothing short of madness) there are just to many cars on the road in Sheffield and both the outer ring road and routes through town are almost at a standstill for much of the day and its only gonna get worse.

I for one would not use the car if I had to commute at rush hour every day.

I remember when I had a Scooter thingy, 50cc.

I was going around the Park Square roundabout, in rush hour, and a private taxi decided to switch lanes and nearly knocked me off!
Well, I wasn't in the best of moods anyway, so decided to exact my revenge.

I followed him to the traffic lights near to Ponds Forge, where the lights were on red, went to the side of his car, and snapped his wing-mirror clean off!

He couldn't catch me, as there was queues of cars all over the place, I was laughing all the way home.

I'm driving a car now, and I feel for those who get injured - even killed by ignorant motorists who don't think to be aware of their surroundings.

I sometimes wonder how on earth they past a driving test, I really do!

Welcome to the world of "no traffic" dude.

Bought a 50cc two weeks ago and now get home from city center to woodseats in 10 minutes. .

. . all those glum suckers in there cars cant shift in rush hour, but we can.

Have you noticed the road tax is only £15 a year too. .

And it uses tenth of the juice of the smallest car ?

Paul, - if you ran to the Gym you'd be even fitter :D
