I am organising an abseil for Cancer Research UK in October and would be interested to hear from anyone who would like to take part, or who could take some A4 posters to put up at work or anywhere where others could see it. You don't need any previous experience to abseil as all instruction and equipment is provided by Parson House Outdoor Pursuits. All you need is the nerve to step off the edge of the Hotel Bristol in Sheffield and the determination to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research. (Under 18's need written consent of parent or guardian).

The event will be the launch event in Cancer Research UK's Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. There will be prizes for top fundraisers and we hope to have a lot of fun on the day with the outrageously pink outfit competition. Just over 6 weeks to go.
