Leaving in Chit Chat for three days to inform everyone who very kindly gave money for this cat, some not pet owners!
Some of you will remember Olliekitten's thread a while back [I can't find it though!] about a cat which needed serious (and expensive) dental treatment, which was abandoned outside a vet's when its owner refused to pay. Thanks to the people on here, we raised £220 in a few hours, which will pay for his treatment and also help some other needy cats.
We popped round to see the cat again a couple of days ago, and finally remembered to take the camera! :) Here (http://www.olliekitten.co.uk/tigger.html) are some pictures of the ginger and white fella. He's amazingly friendly, which is the reason why they aren't great photos! He wouldn't stay far enough away for me to snap him, and kept just running up to me for cuddles.
He hasn't actually had the dental work yet, as the vet wants him to put a bit more weight on - he has already gained quite a bit since being taken in, but still needs a bit more. It's quite hard for him to eat as his teeth cause him pain, but he's getting there.
Thanks again for your generosity - I'm convinced he will make someone a fantastic friend (and there is someone interested - go on, you know you want to! ;)) and it really shows how we an make a difference.
Oh and the lady who has him also had at the last count FORTY kittens to rehome!!! PM olliekitten if you want more info...
