Anyone seen this film yet? I'm going to the half 5 showing at UGC later and have problems sitting for a long period of times as I get bored!! Is this a good one or a rubbish one? Just joined up for one of them unlimited passes so making good use of it. Seen Godsend, Club Dread, Day After Tomorrow etc etc.
This is one of the worst films i have ever seen. I had NEVER walked out on a film early.....until last night, 45 Mins early. Steven Cougan has a strange posh/Alan P accent and they have Jackie Chan in it just to kick off every time they think the script starts to go South. Steve Cougan has sold himself out IMO.
Always thought that Cougan was over-rated.
The guy seems to fancy himself as Peter Sellers for a new generation...the only problem being he can't act and he isn't very funny beyond the odd cringe-worthy Alan Partridge sketch...
See the new version of The Ladykillers, much better. :D

Steve Coogans own stuff is excellent, he is just crap when given someone elses work to do.
I though "The Parole Officer" was a bit limp.
Some comedians can make the transition to comic actor, some can't.
To me, Coogan falls into the latter catagory.
I thought he was good in 24 Hour Party People and Partridge is top notch.. but Around the World in 80 Days looks bad in the ads so I'm not rushing to see it. The original story is fantastic and doesn't need the modern twists.
i think he's crap and have no intention of seeing this film - doesn't look like i'm missing out though after reading this thread
was rubbish. I'm not keen on Steve Coogan anyway.
