Why do the BBC insist on doing more and more of these type of shows? We have Comic Relief, Children in Need and now Sports Relief too.
For those who are not aware, it's an evening of "entertainment" presented by "celebrities" (such as Nick Knowles from DIY SOS) trying to persuade pensioners to send in their last few pounds.
Does anyone actually find these kind of shows entertaining?
Wouldn't it be better if Victoria Beckham ("look at me, I'm talking to poor people in South America") and the rest of them donated a couple of million each? Most of the celebrities wouldn't notice a few million anyway, then we could just have our normal programmes back.
