I'm sure they will start works when all the kids are back at school & the traffic is at it's most busy - just to cause as much disruption as possible!

i hate speed bumps, they dont so much slow cars down as just stop people with modified cars being able to use the roads. there are other methods of traffic calming why cant they use those instead? the list of roads that i have to avoid is getting bigger all time, - wouldnt be so bad if they were of a measured height but a lot are just too high that i cant get over them no matter how slow i go. have completely wrecked my front bumper because i'll get over one then get stuck on the next one (which will be just that bit higher) but by then i have no choice but to keep going as i hear the bumper getting scraped and tugged from the car :(

its a mk1 mx5 but its got full bodykit and been lowered so is only a couple inches off the ground at the front. I have a front splitter i want to mold into the front too which will make it worse when its done as it will petrude out at the bottom so will add more distance between the front edge and the wheels - i like the look it will give but a little unsure whether to go ahead with it if they're gonna put speed bumps on every road as i wont be able to go anywhere!

I'm only guessing, but since there are no speed bumps on the parkway, maybe the OP is talking about the deforming road surface?

Probably means the new entrance lane (that has a high speed hump) to Asda that diverts off the slip road from Handsworth Road to the Parkway.

it says exit though, and that is an entrance only.

I DO mean the deforming road surface. Its in a hell of a state around the asda junction.

I thought the Parkway around that area was bad, but having been working in Dearne Valley for the last few days, Centenary Way going into Rotherham seems far worse :o
