View Full Version : Where do you meet your partners?? the-lioness 23-08-2006, 15:00 This is for Slim to give him some real genuine advice nick2 23-08-2006, 15:01 In a hotel bar, in the Town Hall, in Tesco. (as well as all the normal places, like pubs/clubs) ANGELUS 23-08-2006, 15:04 If I had to choose any from the list- friends and family or work possibly because I'm not meeting anyone in a pub/club and especially random strangers in a bus stop situation. Mind you, I did meet my fiancee on ICQ though :hihi: Shiesh 23-08-2006, 15:12 Met mine at work!!! :D xchubbs1987x 23-08-2006, 15:15 i met my partner through Faceparty 2 years ago! :D  I think 'online' should be in this poll as its becoming a popular place now to meet partners! :) sazk23 23-08-2006, 15:16 I meet people in different places really. Pubs/clubs, weddings, thru friends. But things are pretty dry on the lad front for me. Im happy mind, i dont let things like that get me down :D sam1984 23-08-2006, 15:17 I met mine in a club but I was 16 then. I dont think a club is really the right place for Sid though Ha3el 23-08-2006, 15:23 um none of options really suitable for me as met people in diff places, was in army cadets til 18 so met quite a few boyfriends through that and friends of friends etc. also while out shopping, in pubs, and met my current bf on napster downloading music. i dont really think there is a best place as you can meet people anywhere. although i guess through work and similar interest clubs like sports teams etc it may be easier to get chatting to people in first place as you share a common interest - although on the other hand it can make things awkward if you then split up. I think for someone like slimsid who i think has difficulties in being outgoing and making the effort to talk to people in a social situation it may be easier for him to meet people through a dating site or similar - several people have been giving him advice about being more outgoin etc but so far it doesnt seem to be working.. hazel x babychickens 23-08-2006, 15:29 picked mine up in corporation. we've now been together for 8 years and have a baby daughter. see the power of rock... Hecate 23-08-2006, 15:30 Never in pubs or clubs.
