Hi

Does anyone know of an independant garage in Sheffield who specialises in Volvo's (or at least recommend one that they know does a good job at a competative price)

The dealers have quoted me £140 to replace the exhaust manifold that they say takes 1.5 hours and I am almost tempted to do it myself, but at only 1.5 hours I ampretty sure that I can get it done much cheaper and save myself the hassle of working without a lift etc.

any ideas anyone.

nb - I am located at Hackenthorpe, so this side of Sheff preferable or at least on the tram route for ease.

Have a run down Corporation St (off Nursery St nr the wicker) I'm fairly sure I've seen a sign on there 'Volvo's serviced £30 an hour'

i'd say £140 isn't a bad price, the manifold will cost ~£100 and £40 for 1.5 hours of labour isn't bad.

The £140 was labour only.

The manifold + all gaskets and studs comes to £270.
