Im bordering on either Tom welling, or Dean Cain.

I think Dean captures the cheeseyness of superman/CK, but Welling plays the teenage role really well.

Vote for your clark and superman only

Bugger, i put welling down as superman aswell :(

would a mod please remove the "Tom welling (superman)" option

What about George Reeves? Or Kirk Alyn?

From the list offered, Dean Cain doesn't even get a look in from me, and neither does Tom Welling. Neither shows are worthy of the mantle.

Chris Reeves has to get my vote purely because he made the role iconinc, and I was 5 when it came out, thus a very impressionable age.

Routh has done a great portrayal in the recent movie, but the influence of Reeves meant that he couldn't really make the role his own - he was just continuing how Reeves played it.

So...Reeves then...on both counts.

What!! IMO smallville is brilliant, a little drawn out at times and not true to the comics, but great.

Lois and clark: the adventures of superman, was also good, Cains portrail of clark kent was good, and as superman captured it really well. So far, he is the only superman i have seen that actually looks different in glasses.

As for george and kirk, they are before my time, so i have never seen anything from them really so i can't comment ;)

Christopher Reeves followed by Brandon Routh. The others are rubbish IMO.
