Hiya folks.
Following on from this thread (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?postid=136987#post136987) I thought I'd post some news.

I may be away from the forum for the next 2-3 weeks.
You see, I get married this Saturday and go on honeymoon to the Maldives on Sunday.

Just wanted to say I haven't forsaken you all for another board, I've just been busy with wedding stuff and house moving stuff.
Oh yeah, I'm also moving house at the same time.... well my new mother in law will be the one moving us to the new home next week while I'm on a beach in the Indian Ocean.

To say the least I am a little nervous, but more about my wedding speech. Looking forward to the marriage bit, and I thought I'd never say that... ever.

We've been together for almost 5 yrs and I proposed (in Fuerteventura) a little over 2 yrs ago. So I hope you'll all pray for good weather, that the grass dry's up for the wedding pictures and that all goes well for us on the day. I know I am.

I'll see about getting a couple of snaps together upon my return for you all to see how the day went.

Now... if you'll excuse me I have my lasy ball and chain fitting ;)

Moving to Meadowhead... not staying in sothall which I'm upset at TBH. I love it round here.

However when the thumb (soon to be mrs bouncer) decided she wanted to be closer to my mother in law *shudders* whats a bouncer to do?

Of course you will listen on the net to my radio show next week while sunning it up, won't you.
Hey, i celebrate my 25th this year with a cruise to the Canarys and morocco in December so if i can last that long, you will breeze it.

Good luck DB.
All the best mate.

Cheers for the thoughts everyone.
Hell no phan cannot do a live weblink from the venue.

Don't even think it Phan. I have bouncers invited to my wedding and I'll make sure they are on the ball :P

I shall probably be out of contact from here after lunch time tomorrow as I pack my PC away and basically make sure everything is taken care of.

Panic stations really kicking in.
Had some good advice via PM from some of our 'distant' members which I have noted down (as it is very good advice) - thanks for that - you know who you are ;)

Keep praying for good weather for us folks

Good luck DaB.

Like Cycleracer, I also celebrated my 25th this year (went to Austria in January - marvellous). Stick with it - it is worth it, although as the old saying goes 'If I'd killed her, I'd have been out by now!'

If the bouncers are on the ball, I'll go to the buffet.

Not a million miles from an idea we spoke about though

Sorry I missed the stag. Have a good one DaB, 'K? Be good to her.

Beers in the Westway on your return, my shout.

Awww, good luck to both of you!!!

Dont forget to put a sixpence in your bride's shoe (it's for good luck and wealth in your married life together!!) - although she may not thank you for it having to walk on it all day!!!

Phan
You're right phan it's not a million miles away from our discussion.
And I will hold you to that shout in westways. However as I recall it's your round anyway ;)

LittleWitch
Never heard that six pence thing, and you're right about her not thanking me much for it.

Rich
No way on this earth would Mr Lyons (ex science teacher) set foot at my wedding nor within 100 yrds from me. If he did I would knock his head off.

Everyone else
Cheers for the thoughts. I'm just hoping the day goes well, the weather is at least dry and our honeymoon is great.

Cya all later folks
