does anyone know of a utillity or way of timestamping ping outputs. amy trying to diagnose a connecton problem and a ping -t let's me know it's down but not at what time it's down or for how long.
Any help much appreciated.

fping www.google.co.uk -l -D -c > log.txt seems to do the job
gona knock up a script tonight i think to do a neater job
