Hi guys,
I am interested in knowing why people visit blogs. Can you spare one minute to help me out by completing the story below:loopy: ? It is for my dissertation.

Cheers:thumbsup:

You can write as long or as short a reply as you like! THANK YOU.

First please read what a blog or corporate blog is.

-A blog is a website that is used in the manner of an online journal that focuses on a particular subject. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic.

-A corporate blog is a blog published by, or with the support of, an organization to reach the organisation's goals. These blogs are always devoted to particular topic areas and include commentary by CEOs, views of professionals and other employees, trial ideas, research projects, and interpretations of the events and trends in the field, new product showcases etc. They present an opportunity for people to log on and take part in discussions and debates - with each other and with the company.

Now, please read and complete the story

Three friends are chatting in a pub.

A: "You know what, guys. I read an interesing piece of news today. Boeing used blog to engage thousands of aviation fans around the world. Working together with the fans, Boeing designed its 787 Dreamliner plane. I wonder what the Dreamliner looks like! Cool!"

B: "Really? I didn't even know there was such a thing as corporate blog."

C: "Actually there are loads of companies have blogs, such as Microsoft, SUN, General Motors and Nike. These blogs attracted a lot of visitors and some of them leave comments."

B: "But I don't understand why these guys would like to visit company's blog. I am not bothered."

A: I think they did so because ...
( please imagine their motivations, and complete the conversation using your own words. Don't care whether your imagination makes sense or not.Just write it down)

presumably they share a common interest in the end product, and being part of its creative processess. Its like may be everyone wants to feel they are part of an end product. I if was mad enough on Microsoft Windows I might visit their own BLOG and comment on various technical geeky stuff, and feel pleased to have contributed stuff that even the creators of the final product MIGHT take seriously.
