Forget your personal views for a minute here, he has always been popular with the fans, he always sells out concerts and has had very successfull music career and nobody can deny that.

isn't that the whole point of becoming a pop star though? to sleep with multitudes of attractive folk? also, there's a great deal of irony in both his song lyrics and the interviews he does for the media.
