Which do you wear if any? As I wear trousers and jeans most of the time I rarely wear either. I also don't wear socks and much prefer to go barefoot. Only time I wear anything on my feet is with wellies or walking boots.

I find tights much more comfy and they do give a better line to clothes than suspenders with all those dangling bits of elastic.... yuk!

I can't deny that wearing stockings does feel more sexy and feminine though.

I wear hold up stockings so there's no suspender belt or anything. I hate tights they get all sweaty and horrible, uurrgh.

I think for practicality i would have to say tights, but they are just as irritating as stockings at times.

Much prefer to wear stockings, normally get the hold ups so dont have to worry about suspender belts and the such.

Think they are more practical then tights cos when you first put tights on you have to do an hilarious leg strech and squat jig to get the tights to fit with stockings you dont need to. I always manage to ladder tights pulling them on... and I now all the ladies have been here (and maybe a few men :wink: ) but when youve had a few drinkies tights become highly complicated to operate and dangerous :D

From a male perspective, I found that stockings were far easier than tights...but they don't half chafe the leg-hairs...

Not everybody who wears tights gets thrush and there are lots of reasons for it of which the use of antibiotics is one. The thing is *cough* thrush likes warm/damp conditions *cough* which tights so wonderfully provide..... all that synthetic nylon you see.

Tights are pretty grim, but essential if you have to wear a skirt or dress in cool weather. Stockings are better for, erm, recreational purposes; they can look rather naff and Ann Summers though, unless you're going for a retro look.

Tights: you have to faff with them, then they're either too long or too short in the leg and you end up lookin like Norah Batty and or with your crotch near your knees.

Hold ups: perfect if you have skinny<ish> legs - I don't and they dig in and don't look nice at all!!!

No contest. Stockings every time. Hold ups are good now and then for that fresh air feeling, but a tasteful, quality suspenser belt and some beautiful stockings are without comparison.

I don't like any of them! Socks are horrible, tights just feel wierd all the way up to your waist, suspenders involve dangly clippy things...I think hold ups are the lesser of the evils really - my fave I think.
Stockings are nice when you don't have to go out in them though
