OOOOOOH, YESSSSSSS.......

Loved the first two, this one looks very intriguing, can't wait for it to be released, 2004 seems to be the year for decent movies, what with Spidey 2, Garfield, Hellboy, Alien Vs Predator, Shrek 2, The Punisher......among a few, can't wait to see what 2005 brings.

That Garfield movie is doomed to suck.

Those kind of cartoon/live action crossovers almost always turn out to be completely pants.

Well, I have actually seen Garfield, and trust me on this one, it is very good, hilarious, if you enjoyed cats and dogs then you would enjoy this, they have done it really well, Garfield is so much like the cartoon character, very shallow and self centered, although the only niggle I have is with the Nermal character who was supposed to be a cuter version of Garfield, but in the film he is a siamese cat of some sort and not a kitten as he is portrayed.

All in all though, a decent film.

Plus the fact that you have Bill Murray voicing Garfield...what more do you want!

I've got Hellboy on DVD. Its ok, not amazing but ok, would recommend seeing it if you like comic films. I don't understand why it's taking so long for it to come out in the uk. I've had it on DVD for ages.

Really? What region is it? It's not even out in the 'States until the 27th....

Speaking of Blade Trinity, I was at Comic Con in downtown San Diego yesterday and David Goyer (Director of Blade Trinity) was there talking about his other Super Hero movie - Batman Begins (he wrote the script). Cillian Murphy (28 days later) was also there as he's playing the Scarecrow in Batman. I just hope that this Batman movie is *good*. Signs point to 'maybe'.

Keanu Reeves was also there talking about 'Constantine' (for those of you who know your comics - an adaptation of DC's 'Hellblazer'). They showed 18 minutes of really cool footage. I wasn't keen on seeing the movie before as I was annoyed that they'd made the hero American instead of a Scouser (Constantine is from Liverpool in the comic) and changed a few other key elements. But - it looked very good indeed.

The new Excorcist movie *might* be OK from what I saw and 'The Incredibles' (Pixar) looked fantastic.

There was some cool stuff on display. And, whilst having dinner at a restaurant across from the convention centre, Kenny Baker (the little fella that was inside R2-D2 in the original Star Wars movies) came and had a chat with us. Nerd heaven... ;)

Here's a link to a picture I took of a life-size Aliens Vs. Predator display. I'm 6'4" and they towered over me!

judging from what i've seen of the new batmobile it looks like it will be very different from the rest, which is a good thing in my books. Seen a few trailers for Alien Vs Predator. This films been a long time in the making but i've got the feeling that it will be crap. :(

Somebody actually asked David Goyer why the Batmobile was radically different from what we're used to (it was an open floor Q&A session).

He said that it was designed for a specific purpose in the movie - not just to get it into the script for no other reason than to look cool. From the looks of the new Batmobile....bats is going to be doing some serious off-roading or something!

As for AvP - I've been looking forward to this since the first comic book cross-overs and since I saw that Alien skull onboard the Predator ship in Predator 2 (n3rd!!!!). But - I'm not getting my hopes up. You never know...could be good (fingers crossed).

As far as I know it's not got a region, it's a copy in two chapters which plays on any DVD player. Also plays on playstation and PC DVD. Perfect copy!! (shhh don't tell anyone!)

I got Blade Trinity!

The jury is still out for me whether its as good as the first two though Im affraid- from what I've seen of it.. its not as good as the first by a long shot... sorry to disappoint.

And Dracula in a blade film---- No no no no no!
Thats the first thing that set me off doubting if its any good!

Will let you all know what its like as soon as I get the chance to have a proper watch.

I saw Blade Trinity, I'm not sure whether I think it's as good as the first two but I still quite liked it. It's not as dark and sinister as the first two films and it has more humour in. It looked good and sounded good but the storyline was a bit weak. But Ryan Reynolds, whoa! Niiice body! :heyhey: I quite liked the 2 new characters but they could probably have been in a different film in its own right. I can see a "Nightstalkers" spin off film being made.

Rumor has it that there will be a nightstalkers film . Fingers crossed
