I dont get long enough to answer it before the answer phone takes over. Can I change the settings somehow so that it will ring for a bit longer before switching to answerphone?

Its a Nokia 5210 on O2, if it makes any difference.

I think that falls under 'settings' where you can cancel diverts and set them up in that area.

I don't know the phone but that's the menu you need to look under.

I'm guessing it's probably in the answer phone options.
Press and hold button 1 of your phone and go into thr settings from there.

If it is a Nokia, it is on the settings of your phone. I'll check mine in a bit to see what it is under.

Cheers folks. I played around in phone settings and I cant find any options for the answerphone's eagerness, so i'll give DB's suggestion a go.
