Does anyone else have an alter-ego? (Big Brother 'expert' psychologists say it's a way of deferring emotions, dontcha know ;))

Mine appeared today.

His name is Darren the fat townie, nickname 'Uluru', but he doesn't get it (he's a bit dim), he thinks they're calling him 'alluring'.

He has a burberry cap, and a glandular problem, which means that the object of his affections, Shazza (who "gets around like the Beach Boys", let me tell you!) won't go near him, although Alexis was giving him the eye the other day.

In my daily life, Darren intervenes whenever anyone says the word 'come' in a sentence, or anything equally innuendo-ish. He will usually respond with 'Way-aye!' or similar.

Does anyone else have an alter-ego who'd like to be friends with Daz?

Andy would like to introduce you to Dave. When Andy is tired, drunk or generally just a bit down, Dave takes over. He is very good at wrecking the patient image that Andy tries to convey. This usually comes across in heated discussions. Dave will throw Andy's rule book out of the window and refuse to think before speaking/typing. Dave has been known to upset andy's friends in the past with his zero tolerance views. Luckily, Andy has the ability of apologising genuinely on behalf of Dave. Andy and Dave co-exist in a very yin and yang kind of way. Andy is relieved that Dave is not violent, just vocal.

Dave would like to introduce you to Andy. When Dave has slept too much, drunk too little or is just too happy, Andy takes over. He is good at making a mess of all the opinions that Dave has so emotionally revealed. This is often apparent in the way that Andy displays patience when discussing Dave's viewpoints. Andy will refuse to accept the mere existence of Dave's rule book, and thinks too damn hard about responses to questions or arguments. Andy has been known to bore Dave's friends with his lack of 'zero tolerance' attitude. It is fortunate that Dave can make a mockery of Andy's weak apologies and offend anyone that has a differing opinion to his own. Dave is relieved that Andy is not a priest ,so maybe there is hope yet.

I would like everyone to say hi to Gemma, my alter-ego.

Gemma is a average girl who likes nothing more than just being a face in the crowd, she follows the trends and doesn't like any music unless someone else suggests they like it.

She is obsessed with her image and spends hours in the morning and evening preening her skin to make it as plain as possible. She also removes any trace of her eyebrows and colours them in to have a permanently surprised expression, which masks her usual confusion by the world in general.

She likes to think she is a typical 'nice girl' but often moans and complains about people behind their back and is incredibly sycophantic to their faces.

She would like to meet other faceless automatons for meaningless conversations and whining about how crap their McJobs are without actually doing anything about them.

My name is Gemma-I really hope your alter ego is not the real me it has me paranoid!

My alter ego is called "Rob" as well, hes quick to anger at peoples lack of common sense and edits peoples posts when they annoy me or others.
