anybody on here used any of the employment agencys in sheffield.
my girlfriend is currently trying to find a job but is having problems with providing more than one reference.
i suggested telling a few fibs but shes to damm honest to do so.
so basicly can anyone reccomend a good job agency and will one reference off me be okay ?:confused:

Employment agencies? All I've ever got out of them is writers cramp filling their endless forms in.
Dunno how any of them stay in business.
well only 1 has to be a employer? so 1 can be a family friend.
and walk past the cathedral there is about 6 to pop into.

Of course I've worked for them - that's the general idea of employment agencies.

They are a waste of time and effort, IMO. They promise the earth in their ads, and get nowhere near delivering it.
If you are looking for a job, you will get better results doing it yourself.

Ace Recruitment at Meadowhall must be an exception.
employment agencies are a bane. We get about 10 calls a day from various agencies. We look for staff ourselves. We know what we're getting then.
