There are stories in my family that my aunt knits so much, she can knit in the dark, let alone watching TV etc, boy, can she knit.

Anyhow, I was just reading midnight knitters blog ( www.midnightknitter.com/blog ) and she's bought some of these (http://stores.ebay.com/Lighted-Knitting-Accessories)

Now there is no excuse for wasting those 8 hours a night in bed sleeping!

I daren't show them my son, as he'll want some as light sabres

Illuminated knitting needles are geting to be really popular in the US. Knitting in the cinema is very common over there, and those would be perfect for that.

I saw something a little similar a couple of months agao, but they had little LEDs at the tips, I think, so looked a bit less like light sabres. Could be useful if you don't want to lose them to Star Wars obsessed children (and husbands/boyfriends :hihi: ).
