Having half an hour to spare I was tempted by the Channel 4 programme "How to look good -naked" in which a frumpy woman is given a make-over before appearing nude in the final sequence.
The prospect of getting an eyeful of female flesh proved too much to ignore.
But what a disappointment. The Oriental style-guru -with the curious name of
Gok Wan- promised us a transformation of a rather comely lady by fitting her with a new brassiere and an uncomfortable-looking corset -plus the usual streaky hair and face paste -prior to a nude photo session.
And what did we see - nothing! Not even a nipple never mind a glimpse of her minge. For some reason the transformed lady kept her knickers on throughout.
Does the Trade Descriptions Act apply to misleading TV programmes?

i'll agree with you there - they only look good with clothes on cos they have on girdles, magic pants, corsets, bum lifting tights, evrything!

i watched it last week, and yeh they made her look better, but anyone could have done that.

this show is just another crappy makeover show, normally rserved for 2pm weekdays!

Do they have anything similar for males ? If they do , I would like to apply now .I could do with any sort of ' make-over ' , to be perfectly honest . I could even do with a ' make-under ' if they do those too.
I mean , I'm not in bad nick but with a bit off here and a bit added on there ,I'm sure I could look even better .
I'd feel a bit shy , posing in the nude at the beginning [ but that would depend on the money , of course ] but , if they made a good job of it , I wouldn't half mind showing my all at the end of the process .
I 've often thought of trying to get on Big Brother but this sounds even more exciting . By the way , what's a " minge " ?

Having re-read Mr. Bazzo's vivid description of the make-over programme , I now realise that I wasn't being completely honest .
The fact is , that I've been wearing a corset for years now .However , if I did have a make-over , I would hope that those in charge of the transformation would be generous enough to give me a more effective one . The one I'm using now was inherited from my mother around 25 years ago and nips round the middle , especially after a large meal .
All I want really , in that department anyway , is something to make the stomach look smaller , hence , by comparison , making everything else look bigger or more inviting .
To be honest , I don't have any great ambitions , even after a possible make-over . At best , I expect I will only be able to pull some aged crone from the City Hall tea dances or some drunken old biddy , lurching out of a nightclub at 4 a.m. , desperate but eager . My only other hope is to meet some ' femme fatale ' who has also been transformed by the miracle of modern body engineering .
If none of that works , I will take other steps .
