I like the weather as it is... I get really ill in the hot weather and there nothing I can do about it, where as when its a bit colder if your cold you can just put more layers on or snuggle under the duvet.. :)

I am really missing the sun, I remember reading in the Express at the end of July, 'If you think July was hot, just wait until August'. Well I am still waiting and nothing has happened, just rain, wind and cold. Does anyone think the sun will come back?

Currently there is a large area of High Pressure situated in the Atlantic, just west of Ireland. For the moment, its not shifting as a slightly smaller area of Low Pressure is situated over the North sea, effectively blocking the transition of High Pressure (fine weather) to present itself over us. Additionally, both are pulling in cooler northerly winds over us, with associated showery conditions for much of the North and East of the UK. Only once the LP decides its time to move, will the HP position itself over us and in return we will be provided clearer skies and higher temps. This current 'block' will last for the next 5 to 6 days. Everyone look east, full up your lungs and blow at the count of 3...

Well, as I've heard, we don't have climate in this country, only weather...

How do you tell summer from winter in England?

In summer the rain is warmer

Sorry, just come back from the beach. It was abit iffy this morning but turned out lovely again this afternoon.:) Took a cardi with me but did'nt use it.
Had just a bit of rain earlier but not enough to get the brolly's out. It was just that in the air stuff that hardly matters.
Now the sky is blue and the sun is very warm....summer is still alive and well here.

I think it is a lot nicer with it not being so hot, I am an absolute autumn fan, so at the first signs of it, I feel my energy is coming back.... almost like spring feelings!
