I'd have to vote Will & Grace.
It has the occasional funny moment, but it is just done so "paint by numbers" just working out stuff based on Friends and all those sort of shows. It is just so unoriginal.

But I have a slight soft spot for 'Allo 'Allo - I think it helped to have seen the 'straight' TV series Secret Army before hand.

But I like farce in general along with the witty stuff, so 'All 'Allo appeals to me.

I tried to watch Seinfeld and although it raised the odd smirk I couldn't see what the fuss was about.

It's a close run thing between The Mighty Boosh or Friends.

Alan Partridge?? It's one of those charcacters that you either get or you don't, if you don't you'll hate it, but if you do you love it, that's why it is such a cult classic with millions of fans, and is commonly regarded as one of the best sitcoms ever. Same as me with Phoenix nights- I don't 'get it', but millions of people love it.

Radio 4 needs to do the merciful thing to some of its comedies. Quote unqote, counterpoint... really anyhting without giles wembly hogg (who is wonderful) is kind of crappy these days.

Any comedy on ITV except 'Rising Damp'.

I also loved coupling! But can't stand Bo Selecta, Mighty Boosh, Friends, My Hero and many many others. On a contraversial note I never saw the appeal of Little Britain or League of Gentlemen. Of course none of them remotely rival "I'm sorry I haven't a clue"!!!

Worst has to be "Little Britain" - third rate childish rubbish that would love to be "The League Of Gentlemen" but lacks the intelligence.
Closely followed by Catherine Tate, which in turn rips off "Little Britain".

Their popularity only serves to show how thick the majority of TV viewers are these days.........

Well... I am one to back this.. Alan Partridge is literally a classic show! You just have to have the right sense of humor same goes with mighty boosh and LOG! There are probs many for me but the one that stands out is my hero :( oh and rising damp!

Well without going back into the mists of time (Sorry and Allo Allo would be right up there) I'd have to say firstly Little Britain, especially the last series, deeply unfunny and some of the most criminally lazy writing I've ever seen...and then secondly Last of the Summer Wine, this one ran out of steam 15 years ago, god knows how it's still around stinking up the schedules.

Most BBC sit-coms (I might have missed an H out somewhere) with canned laughter are excruciatingly bad. The audience are in stitches yet these programmes aren't even remotely funny.

Friends - I can't say just how bad this is without making myself ill;

Big Brother - What's Wrong With Our Country summed up in this vomit. Okay, it's not supposed to be funny but it most certainly is sad.

Two Pints is NOT crap, sure it's crude and some people may find it offensive, but that's half the humour IMO... I watch it loads and almost always PMSL with laughing at it.

Don't know about sad. Annoying maybe - if she hated her husband that much, why not just leave him, or just accept the comfortable lifestyle he's provided her with and stop whingeing? And if she hated cooking so much, why not pay somebody to cook and do something more interesting with her spare time? They were rich enough. Or get herself a job, or do some charity work? Yuk. Sorry, but this programme epitomises for me everything that's loathsome about the 'victim culture', and might well have been partly responsible for inaugurating that culture in the first place. Yuk yuk yuk.

And what was it with those weirdly anachronistic sons of hers, speaking some bizarre version of 1960s 'hep cat' slang way into the late 1970s, without apparent irony?

Most British sit-coms are fairly rubbish, especially 'Allo 'Allo and others of that ilk.

Much as I hate to say it, many episodes of the later series of Frasier were quite poor.

Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em is my nomination for the greatest irritant of all time.

I've read nearly all of the scripts(the things people used to do before bittorrent lol) and found that I enjoyed the series 9 & 10 scripts *more* than those of the earlier seasons. Watching the episodes was a huge dissapointment.

I never really liked Only Fools and Horses either. Also not funny were: Bread, Friends, Allo Allo, Vicar Of Dibley, Birds of a Feather, Cheers, Little Britain, that other thing with them off Little Britain being pop stars, Ricky Gervais stand up shows, just about all American sit-coms, variety shows.

Frasier. Absolute crap. And Friends. There's so much crap comedy, I don't know where to start. Slagging Partridge off is unforgivable. No other programme makes me cringe as much as Partridge.

I would say at least 95% of the sitcoms over the last 35 years are probably a load of horse manure actually.
