Hi I'm new to this site and I'd like to coach/manage a childrens football team. I am 26 years old and have coached 5-a-side teams from under 11's up to the mens leagues at both Powerleague and in Futsal. I've also worked with an under 18 Sunday League team. I don't have any football qualifications but I am very enthusiastic and I personally believe I can get the very best out of like minded people.
Feel free to reply or email me at apm2180@hotmail.co.uk
Thanks
Anthony

are you just looking to coach junior teams mate? What futsal team were you involved in?
Basically I worked with a couple of Futsal teams at the Sheffield United Acadamy. But they went their separate ways after a while unfortunately. I have forgotten what the team was called (I think it was Sheffield Villains), we were there for about 6 months or so, mainly with lads I had worked with for a long time. At this stage they were 18 and 19 years old. This was about 18 months ago so Futsal has developled spectacularly since then, same principles though. The pace of the game makes practice imperative, but a lot of the players were not prepared for that which made it hard.
Basically I am just trying to get back into coaching football, I left because I got married and set up my own business but I miss it now and things a settled down and it's something I'd like to get back into.
Are you involved in a Futsal team???
I'm willing to coach adults I just find junior teams more responsive, depends on attitudes really.
Thanks.

Hi mate
Yea i run Rotherham Athletic Futsal team, we play at Sheffield United Academy on Mondays, also in the elite league on tuesdays and the National League too.
Im looking for coaches at the minute if you are interested? Might be able to get you set up on a badge too?
Were set up quite well at the minute, were recruiting players this summer so that come the end of September we will have 3 strong squads of around ten to twelve players each, at present we have around 24 in our squad but were trying to bring in better quality players and improve. As we are not quite on a par with the national standard yet.
Weve also set up a ladies section that at the moment mainly contains beginners but im hoping this will develop more when the universities return.
I myself am a level 2 coach and i have a couple of people help me, both level 1's, but im looking to get a few more people helping out, at the moment both teams train at the same time but separately. So im looking to put together a few people interested in coaching as a team so we can work on different aspects on both squads.
Any interest to you mate?

Hi Ant
Are you still looking to get involved with something? is the futsal of any interest?
Shaun
Hi, sorry for not getting back to you. I've been offered the chance to work with an under 13's 11-a-side team so i'm going to see how that goes for now. Thanks for asking though.
