Hi there

i've been visiting the sheffield forum for a while, but never got round to registering. Anyhow recently i decided i wanted to move out from living with my dad, and was hit with the sudden realisation that it wasn't all that easy.

I'm severly disabled, and thought the housing would note this. But when i submitted my registration form, they didn't even bother to enter my health problems in to their computers. I ended up having to go down to the nearest office in Hillsborough to tell them what to put down. Was not filled with a lot of confidence.

Was wondering if anyone else has been in the same spot and might have any advice. I've been told my only option is to have someone come and asses my housing needs.

I have to say i'm kinda scared of the idea of going under the microscope.
