View Full Version : Ebay - Trevor Mcdonald tonight tara 02-07-2004, 19:58 Did anyone see tonights trevor mcdonald tonight about ebay. personaly ive never bothered much with ebay but has anyone here got a story to tell. No longer under manufacturers guarantee... tara 02-07-2004, 20:35 EBAY OF COURSE only saw last part but he was interviewing people who had been ripped off big time. one guy lost thousands on a motor bike deal because the seller he was buying from had indeed pinched someone elses identity from their account with ebay, the person who's identity it was, found out and comlained to ebay ebay didnt cancell any accounts and the so called sale went through and hence -there never was any bike. he paid £7.000. another interview was with this couple who saw a holiday advertised on ebay .when they paid and went to get the tickets the tickets were in someone elses name so they finished up having to pay an extra £250, on top of the £165 they'd already paid to the people who were selling their holiday. did anyone see it all way through. tara 02-07-2004, 20:40 rtapper lol ToryCynic 02-07-2004, 21:11 Originally posted by rtapper Were they trying to sell Trevor McDonald on E-bay ?!
