Just heard that Marlon Brando has died at the age of 80. Surely one of the greatest actors of his generation.

I remember when I was introduced by a friend to how good some cinema can be, The Godfather was one of the best films I saw, and his performance was amazing.

Makes you despair for the movie industry these days, is there any room for talents like his to develop?

During his career he made millions but lost millions on expensive divorce settlements.

He was a fine actor

He ended up having a rather sad life - I read the other day he was on benefits.

Such a shame - the last film I watched with him in it was 'On The Waterfront' - brilliant.
