Cyclone 04-07-2004, 11:21 if it's just advice you're after then just find a relevant forum on the web and ask away. Are you looking for something complicated, or just a wired or wireless lan sharing a broadband connection? PENGUIN 04-07-2004, 14:57 http://uk.insight.com/static/service/services_index.php I also know one that is near Attercliffe, that company was mentioned is the Star recently. Greybeard 04-07-2004, 18:56 PC World Business do a package including installation. jonathanp1 06-07-2004, 11:46 It all depends on what you are after. I can recommend a solution if you tell me how many PC's you want connected, ands if you want peer to peer or a dedicated server? Internetowl 06-07-2004, 12:04 Don't take his advice - he's clueless :) mr.blaze 06-07-2004, 15:13 If you can tell me what your after I can give you a quote. commie pig 07-07-2004, 01:33 what exactly do you want them to do? i could list you umpteen good local companies that could install you a network -it's pretty straightforward. but you have to think about exactly what you need from it, and how you will maintain it - there will be shedloads of problems with it no matter how good it is. lots of companies will bee great at the install, but just dont have enough staff to do the support thoroughly. and once you have one, if your network goes down it is, at best, incredibly annoying, at worst, disastrous. i don't mean to sound patronising, but if you're just asking for 'a network' it doesn't sound like you really know what you want. in your average sme a good network will save you the cost of one worker (god i feel like such a hypocrite for pointing that out!), but you have to invest in it properly fo it to really work. |
