Me and a few friends ventured up to the site of the "Over-Exposed" last night. (a plane that crashed in 1948)
More details can be found here

Its a moving site and well worth the 1 hour walk to get there.

The locations of aircraft wrecks in North Derbyshire, and details of how and when the planes crashed, are recorded in detail in two books by Ron Collier entitled "Dark Peak Aircraft Wrecks" . They are available from bookshops or Amazon.

Hello Sean, you and Mick still wandering the moors looking for bits of scrap metal? I've given it up until the weather warms up. Regards, cat.
