My last pint was on Tuesday night in the Rutland - Jennings Cumberland Ale. Ealier that day I had been drinking Kronenburg at Alton Towers.

I had some half pints on Wednesday when I did Beer Matters distribution, but the name of this thread suggests only pints count.

Last night - a can of stones. Wouldn't usually drinkt he stuff but it was elft over from a barbie. Realised that it smells of farts.

Don't doubt I'll finish the other three when I've run out of the good stuff.

I miss that pub so much. used to live right by it last year. Was a regular at the impossible pub quiz on a Sunday.

No Pub quiz is impossible mate, I just know of at least 1 that at one time was impossible to win, cos the same team in the Tap room of the Sportsman here in Stannington always used to win, before it changed hands... In fact just before Dad and I stopped going in about 2 years ago there were rumours flying round the Lounge that bar staff were leaking the answers to them.

We just stopped going in after that, cos the pub had other problems as well, bar room brawling, drunken chavs chasing each other round the car park, Police regularly called.... Honestly it was more like being in a pub down Pitsmoor or on the Manor than supposedly nice, quiet little Village of Stannington :loopy:

Point is though, pub quizzes are supposed to be fun... And a night in your local with the old man shouldn't leave you having to watch your back and daren't open your mouth in case some drunken chav doesn't like the sound of your voice and wallops you one.

I do enjoy pub quizzes, but the one at the deer is the hardest one i've ever done. We still did it every week though just to makes us feel stupid. Actually it was just an excuse to drink on a Sunday.

Tonight I will be enjoying several froths in the birkey, which is my local when i'm home in Liverpool.

I love pub quizzes, we tend to do two a week, one music one general knowledge - we win the music one sometimes. I did do 5 in 5 nights once but that was a bit nerdy (although not that nerdy as we only won too)

Last night in the Devonshire Cat, a good pint of Caledonian Deuchars IPA.

Before that, the night before, pint of Durham Magus.

My last pint was in the previously motioned pub, which was then followed by a load of vodka at a party. I'd forgotten how bad vodka hangovers could be. I've only just managed to convince myself that i'm not going to be sick. My head also feels like a house has been dropped on it.
Think i'll have to get myself to the pub to sort it out.
