Anyone interested in forming a Sheffield Forum Paranormal Group? There are several interest groups currently operating in the Sheffield Groups area of SF, so I thought it might be nice to have one that concerned itself with weird stuff in general. The group could chat about everything from God to UFO's to ghosts to the exsitence of fairies at the bottom of your garden. Anything & everything slightly paranormal, supernatural, or just plain odd would be open to discussion.

We've had lots of threads on these kind of subjects alately on SF, so a group dedicated to our better understanding of that which cannot be understood should prove popular. If interested please reply to this thread, and let's see if we can get the ball rolling.

While you're at it, why not take a look at my "Haunted House" restaurant night out thread? It's one night that should be a scream! Magic, food, and spooks guaranteed! Details in my sig.

I don't think I'd be looking to organise paranormal investigations as such. It would be more of a friendly forum for discussing all things supernatural. There are already a few people on the forum who organise the "real" ghost hunt type things, and I wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes.

I do organise the Haunted House events which are a sort of interactive event where I perform spooky magic combined with ghost stories and food. The next one is on 26th August (details below). If people wanted to use these events as semi-official paranormal forum meets that would be fine by me. All talk of anything supernatural is very much encouraged at the Haunted House events.

I really hope it doesn't... but the SPA and the DVPA are pretty protective of their turf and their one paid up member.

Would be great if we could get to an active location etc.How about being locked in the very cell the Charles Peace was detained before being taken to leeds and hung. http://www.historybytheyard.co.uk/charlie_peace.htm He has been know to still visit the cell. Its a strange feeling to be locked in a pitch black cell at midnight with only a blanket for comfort. :o We have been there twice now and are planning another visit at the end of the month.:thumbsup:

This actually sounds great, me and a couple of mates already go on ghost hunts and have found one on camera! We've been upto Beauchief park and captured the White Lady, we'r still debating wether or not we have Orbs or just dust on lens, so we'd definetly be up for joining others in other haunted places. It's just getting the right day to do these things, It's usually Saturday or Monday nights.
