Yay, at last we did it. We have our own parenting thready place.
Looking forward to all other contributions on here.
I've got 9 month old twin girls so parenting is a particular interest to me and I know there's loads more parents out there in similar positions, now we can put our heads together.
So, let us know who you are and how old your kids are on here :)

Good luck with the new group folks. :)

Don't be afraid to shout for help from the Mod Team if you need anything.
(As long as it doesn't involve any last minute babysitting ;))

Great to see the new 'parenting group' I reckon i'll be a regular on here - i'm finding motherhood the second time around very tiring and a lot harder than I remember.

I've got a little son - William (Liam) who is 7 weeks old and i've also got a daughter who is 23 and a step-daughter also 23.

Okay, fine. So I'm away for a few days nursing my poor poorly cosycub back to health...and you go and start without me.:(

Never mind, I can always be softened up by a chance to talk about my boy, lol.

My cosycub is 15 months old, is the size of a two and a half year old, and is a mischief making little monster with the most gorgeously naughty smile and giggle ever. Yes, this mother is deeply in love with her son, who is obviously the most wonderful baby ever!!! :D

Welcome, everyone, and enjoy....

Hello!!! I have a daughter just two last week and my second is due on 1st September...countdown ahoy...stretchmarks getting horrible now!!!

So - here's a dilemna for the parenting group...As well as a new baby to contend with (and I am currently trying to complete and submit a Masters dissertation before it arrives...)we are moving house. Has anyone had this experience with their toddler? Can anyone recommend any tips because I feel it is going to be really strange for my daughter - new house, new baby and totally stressed out Mummy!!! Any advice will be appreciated...

I'm glad to see this group established! At last, somewhere to share the highs and lows!

Tallyboy is nearly 5 (and starts infant school in a couple of weeks!!!) and Tallygirl is nearly 8 (just starting Juniors)

I've been doing much of the childcare up to now while Mrs Tallyman works full-time.

I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone else copes, and then wishing I'd done it that way instead of the cack-handed methods I've used!

Just discovered the parent group.

I've a boy, Ewan, who'se just started reception class at school, he's "4 and a half" as he proudly points out, and Faye who is 8 months.

She's a real tiddler, born 6 weeks early but catching up slowly.

Jim:thumbsup:
