I wonder if the Pot Noodle you prefer says anything about you?

My personal favourite is Beef and Tomato Pot Noodle with LOADS of extra tomato ketchup mixed in. MMMMMMM!!!!!!

But I ALWAYS take out all the freeze dried peas before eating. YUCK!!

someone elses..

They always smell great and then when I've had one I feel terrible.. exactly why the 'slag of all snacks' ads were spot on.

(**whispers** chicken and mushroom)

They did a great spicy chicken salsa, but i think that was discontinued, so i would have to say beef and tomato now!

Chicken & Mushroom all the way but you have to have some bread and butter with it to make Pot Noodle butties.

Don't try the 'Bombay Bad Boy' extra hot Vindaloo style one. Your rectum will not thank you for it the next day.

I don't eat Pot Noodle as I fidn them all foul, however, recently with what ic an eat being severly limited by my teeth, I've taken to eating 'Nong Shim' Noodle cups.

All the writing is in chinese and so i don't know what flavour they are, except for the most vague of descriptions (thankfully in english).

My favourite flavour is called 'Shin Cup' with all the optional chilli powder provided added into it. Yummy

Chilli Posh Noodle. Absolutely GORGEOUS. It's all I'm planning on eating this summer at festivals anyway.

Tiger Noodles..

..just like Posh Noodles (the thinner noodles) but cheaper - and nicer.

Tom Ka flavour...yum

but for the Golden Wonder brand, it has to be the chow mein.

wow! quite a range then!! But dont any of you have little rituals centred around your pot of noodles? i.e - I take out all those manky peas before I eat mine, and squeeze in loads of extra tomato ketchup - it's the only food I put ketchup on. Weird...

On my first festival i took a load of noodles to eat as food, but in the end i never ate them, they were just too much effort to cook.

My food shopping list for this year's festival?

32 penguins
12 pack of tomato cup-a-soup

if i want to eat anything else i'll pay the extortionate prices

Yep, as I said I do exactly that. I take out the peas before I add the water though lol. Give it a good stir then add more ketchup. then another good stir

Mmm Pot Noodle! I like the sweet and sour flavour bestest!!:)
I think Beef and Tomato is the worst flavour ever! No offence but it conjures up the image of a noodle beef burger!! Yuk!!

The worst noodle snack I ever had was a chicken flavoured one that had weird bits in it. I later found out that they were supposed to be fishcakes! Ugh!

Anyone remember 'Carrot's Crunchy Clippings' by the way? ;)

Bombay Bad Boy is the best one.

Now I like my snap hot but even I've got to admit that it's got one hell of a bite to it <slurp>.

Other than that the old chicken and mushroom one is pretty good after a few beers.

Yes I do tend to go for more healthy and wholesome options, but what with Pot Noodle being the slag of all snacks, I just cant help myself. That little white pot's always there late at night when I cant be bothered to cook anything decent, and she always delivers. :)

Beef and Tomato flavour.. (it's not real Beef)

LittleWitch
01-07-2004, 21:22
I feel better that it isnt real beef. After all, what a depressing thought that some poor cow's nobbly bits, ear holes and other holes are being used in Pot Noodles. It would show what low esteem we place cows in. ;)

Chicken 'n' Mushrooms the pottyest of all pot noodles by far.
