does anybody know how good the lebanese restaurant on west street is?

I have been to sheiks about 6 or 7 times and been pleased with it nearly every time.

Hmm... I have heard mixed reports.
When I went I enjoyed what I had, but some of my friends were unimpressed.

They do some sort of special offer at the moment if you go before 7 I think.

I've been to Sheiks a couple of months ago and had a really superb meal....

I think peoples' standards are different so the sorts of other places I like to eat so you can sort of pitch it are 543, Seasons, Runaway girl, Wig and pen, Ivory, Cafe Guru, and Inter Thai would be amongst my favourite places in Sheffield.

Some people might say it's really nice and then say they like Weatherspoons 'cos it's cheap...

I do like Sheikhs, but if you want a more genuine Lebanese eating experience, try Rowsha on South Road in Walkley.

i've been to Rowshas and sheikes.

I think Sheikes edges it but think that might be to do with what i ordered. i hada great peice of fish there also THe coffee at sheikes was f***ing great.

both are nice places though.
