Anything with the Marx Brothers in it.

The single most horrific film though has to be Jumpin Jack Flash with Whoopee Goldberg.

Dire, as shes typing to her contact you can see her hands flapping against the keyboards like a pair of drunken spiders.

The 1953 file - The Robe, the 1949 film - She Wore a Yellow Ribbon and the 1939 film - The Wizard of OZ. These worn out films get shoved on telly every so often and I can't get to rip the plug out the wall fast enough.

No question for me-
Erin Brockovich.

Simply, the most evil pile of crap I've ever tried to watch.

I dont get it- I've tried and failed 5 times because people told me to watch it.
I dont know what it is- it seems that it starts on one thing, then goes to something different and then something else....

Its a total mind cockerupper.
Utter garbage.

I would rather sit through an Adam Sandler marathon than ever see any of these stinking piles of tripe again (and Sandler sucks serious ass!!)

Sorry, I thought they were both awful. They are both films that get made again again every year by Hollywood with slightly different characters and a different title.

If you enjoyed them then that is great. I can't really talk.... One of my favourite films is "Who's that Girl"......

Im glad someone mentioned Batman and Robin.

At its premiere Joel Schumacher (Director) is believed to have turned to George Clooney and said (paraphrasing)

"I have made the worst movie of all time"

To which George replied.

"No you havent, its not even that good."

Also, the Dino De laurentis version of King Kong in the 70s.
I actually payed to go and watch that, and even at the tender age of 16, I cringed at the script.

The film is actually called "Theatre of Blood" and it's got Diana Rigg in it as well. It's cited as being one of Vincent Price's most triumphant performances, he plays a deceased (or is he?!) theatre actor who takes revenge on his critics by killing them in ways inspired by Shakespeare's plays! The scene in question is the one inspired by "Titus Andronicus", pure genius!!

The sin city comics were about characters in a violent situations - the film, although it lookced pretty lacked any sort of characterisation had very little in the way of acting and merely served as a vehicle to glorify the violence in a nauseating, voyeuristic way. Casablanca on the other hand had story, acting and chararacterisation - all sadly missing from Sin City!

No question for me, Spanglish (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371246/).

Tea Leone and Adam Sandler.

The ex insisted we watch it on Box Office, so I relented and ordered it. My god that film just would not end!!! And to top it off, when it did end, there was very little resolution of the story lines!

I'm actually shuddering as I type.

I like him, but I wouldn't go quite that far. Doesn't stop him from making a few dreadful films though.

'Fawlty Towers' was excellent, but just think how disappointed you would have been if it had dragged on for far too many series and lost its sparkle, as 'Frasier' and 'Friends' did.

The Blues Brothers 2000 why? why? why? The original was such a classic! When I heard it was being made I just knew that it would be rubbish and guess what?...

And I am sorry but Titanic gets my vote too...cliche after cliche ending in a lovely frozen bogey death scene..I was getting some very dirty looks in the cinema for sniggering at that point! A very tragic event in world history reduced to cinematic tripe.

There was talk last year of putting together an extended cut for DVD of Event Horizon. When the film was released there was about 40 mins dropped from it for 'pacing', which is why it gets half way through and then just skips a lot, making little sense. I look forward to the extended version (if it ever surfaces).

Firstly, I love nauseating violence. Secondly, I think too many comic book conversions have been ruined by too much being spent on the developing of the characters ie. punisher, daredevil, spiderman.

Moulin Rouge. And that Romeo & Juliet pop video cack by the same director.

My own Private Idaho. There might have been a story in it somewhere, but the director sure couldn't find it.

Road Trip. Road Tripe more like. And the similar Dude Where's My Car.

In the last year I thought that "Stormbreaker" and "Date Movie" were bad films, but "Revolver" was terrible. I quite liked the first third, when they were talking about a master criminal and chess player planning the perfect crime by passing messages in books between their cells, but then it went into pretentious spiritual drivel that made no sense.

The worst film that I've ever seen though is "Magnolia" with Tom Cruise, Julianne Moore and William H Macy. Although there were a few good bits in it (Tom Cruise - "Respect the c**k, tame the c**t"), the ending infuriated me. You had a thunderstorm of frogs (?), without any explanation of why it happened, in fact barely any of the characters even acknowledged that it had happened.

I'm sorry - daredevil spent too much time developing characters???? The "characterisation" in DD would have shamed WWE!!! Spiderman I thought was pretty good as comic book adaptions go. I've no problem with violence in it's place (integral to the plot like Fight Club or OTT comedic stuff like Bad Taste) but fetishised violence with no context or redeeming features is pretty pointless not to mention mind numbing and soul sapping! As you can possibly guess I really didn't like Sin City which is a pitty 'cos I really liked the comics! As for Casablanca being boring, if you though DD spent too much time developing characters I'm guessing most of it went right over your head!
