Leave the key in and you're inviting it to be stolen.
Leave the key in and you're inviting it to be stolen.

So it's Sarah's fault is it ?

Well yes, no one else locked it for her and left the key in.
If you left your front door key in the door over night and someone came in your house, stole your car keys and nicked your car, who's fault would that be?
where was it stolen from n wat it like:)
Leave the key in and you're inviting it to be stolen.
Doesnt mean they were right to take it!
So the next time you accidently leave your front door open, you deserve to be burgled?
Sorry to hear about your bike Sarah - just because you forgot to take the key does not give them the right to steal it.

I live in Amsterdam and it is notorious for live low junkies to steal bikes, but this was in daylight right outside a busy supermarket!
I know i was stupid to leave the key in but that doesnt mean it was anyone esles to take,...what annoys me is the skanky stinky junkies who must sit there all day waiting for this to happen so they can afford to get there next fix!
The Junkies as you described them were wrong to take your bike however they are always looking for a quick earner and you leaving your key in was just too good to be true.
If the temptations there they'll do it.

Completely agree, but there are too many of them in Amsterdam i just wish there was some way the city/police could get rid of them

I know it doesn't mean they have the right to steal it, but unfortunately there are alot of untrustworthy people in this world.
Can't you just head down the train station and nick one of the thousands outside there? Joke.
