I think that it depends very much on the circumstances or am I stating the obvious there?

I wear boxer shorts. I think you could do with another option for underwear.

I didn't realise people went to bed in their 'day' clothes, interesting to see how many others do too. :D

In my (oh so vast) experience men SAY they wear nothing in bed but manage to turn themselves during the night into the Duvet Monster (technical term) which is a man/duvet combination resembling a swiss roll.

OK, a poll as to what people wear in bed may be a bit of fun but as to the state of people's underwear, don't you think that's a shade too prurient?:nono:

I usually wear a t-shirt and my "special bedtime knickers" I have a selection of silky ones, which I never wear during the day cos I prefer cotton. Hubby calls the silky ones my "bed britches" ;)

Yes, us Witches are nice. We dont wear our pointy hats to bed though. The brim makes it difficult to get comfy, and the point gets bent too easily... :D

In the olden days chaps (Eric and Ernie/Sid James and Tony Hancock) wore pyjamas in bed (and smoked pipes). I have tried desperately to emulate them, but I always ended up with my PJ bottoms 'round my neck and my top somewhere on the floor. So I am now another naked sleeper. I do smoke a pipe though.

When I lived alone in a very drafty flat on Norfolk park I slept in tracksuit bottoms, football socks and a wooley hat. It was that cold. But I would have been ready to run for it had their been a fire.

Nowt. I don't like to even wear boxers in bed as during nocturnal tossing and turning they can becom a mite restrictive and I have no desire to cut off the blood supply to certain bits.

It depends how warm it is in winter when its really cold i wear a t-shirt and shorts, then in summer i'm all skin and bone.

in the nude, I get so hot and usually end up with any item i do wear wrapped round my neck.

I do sometimes think though what if there was a fire??
