I had a big Polaris quad bike/ATV stolen - mini-tractor size not fun-size. They wheeled it away in the dead of night - having cut through a padlocked gate and removed a fence panel to get it out. Don't know how they managed to eventually start it because I still have the key.

The police have had no luck in finding it. I think that our window cleaners were involved in the theft but can't prove it.

Can anyone out there help me trace it?

may be worth looking out for people selling spare parts for the same sort of quad.

I've seen someone matching that (albeit brief) description for the last couple of weeks round Ecclesall road area

oh rite well dont know sheff all that well. was just out with my ex on friday on west street n u couldnt miss this guy on the quad! he had what looked to be dreadlocks with big sunglasses on top of his head n bright clothes like tie dye type

So because a black man was on a quad guessing he must have stole it, i was driving a quad saturday nite all round hillsborough through town, up to arbourthorne and back round hillsborough from 6 o clock till round 3am sunday morning, it could have been me what stole it, or maybe i borrowed it from a friend any way im white so guess it dint steal it.

erm excuse me would you please like to point out where i said he must of stole it coz he was black? because i dont think i did! i was just describing what i saw ok! the person who's quad got stolen said their window cleaners may have had something to do with it so obviously a full description is needed! read properly what people post ok! i have nothing against black people! thanks!

ok well i have made things clear now :)

The quad was stolen a few months ago. It's a slate grey colour (or was when we had it!).

have you got it back yet?
