any advice on a free anti virus deal out there my current one ends in 2 days its the CA 12 month trial,could buy one but prefer the free word 1:hihi:

never had any probs with grisoft AVG.

I recommend Avast Home Antivirus. It comes with a Firewall and Updates itseld, even speaks to you when it has finished updates. :)

There are loads of threads about AVs, and there's a list of SFer-recommended programs in the SF FAQ (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_sf_computer_help).

I use AVG and, from what it says in the other threads, it is one of the better free AVs.
