Anyone remember this Sheffield-based police series from about 8-9 years ago? John Duttine was in it. There was one clever episode about a couple with a stillborn child, whose resolution all hinged on the timetable of the buses past Burngreave cemetery.
I remembered it when seeing the trailer for that new one based in Newcastle with Dervla Kirwan.
About time there was another Sheffield-based drama... or even a soap!
yes DB I remember the show, just ... how long did it run.

A couple of series, I think. John Hannah ws in the first, but not the second. No more than about 10-11 episodes in total.

Yes, I can remember it. They filmed a doorstep scene just up the road from where I live and my house was on the programme for a split second!
A Sheffield based version of Corrie? Hmm, could be a lot of scope for that...

The inhabitants of Dalton were a bit upset about their patch being presented as rundown and lawless, even in fiction.
As an aside, John Hannah played Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus ont' telly and was rubbish in the part... the scripts weren't very good adaptations from the books either

But can't anyone remember the sitcom I didn't know you cared?
It was filmed in the Heeley area. It was great.
The 'police station' used in Out of the Blue is Bessemer House on Carlisle Street East. I was doing a course with BTCV there whilst they 'borrowed' it.
