Hi,
A few days ago my laptop power supply started making a clicking noise every second or so and it also no longer supplies power to my laptop. New power supplies are expensive...does anyone know if this a fixable problem?
Thanks
they're not actually that expensive. what make/model laptop? likely to be around 20 quid.

compaq presario. Cheapest I have seen is 50 pounds. Do you know somewhere with cheaper prices?
try www.laptopshop.co.uk or www.laptop-chargers.co.uk
you can get them cheaper from ebay but i'd probably avoid the chinese imports with something like this.

thanks for the tips. Well it turns out I should have just gone to compaq website since they charge 30 pounds for a replacement which is a lot less than the 50 being asked on most shopts websites!
