(Family left without elec from n-power)
Unemployed family left without elec, after many calls and complaints they put in a complaint after being left without it since friday.
Whats ur views?
Without knowing the facts it'd be pretty daft to form opinions on it, surely? Perhaps it'd be best asking this after tomorrow's Star came out?
Knowing how rubbish Npower are I can take a guess at the electric problem. We were getting demands to pay our electric bill whilst they were taking a monthly direct debit from us, the account was in debit but they caused us no end of stress. They had to be asked to set up the direct debit three times. Needless to say we are switching.

I wouldn't touch Npower .... I've several friends who've had no end of trouble with them. A few years ago Npower called the debt collectors in although it was Npower who owed me money!:loopy: It tooks months of letters and phone calls to sort that one out.

Npower threatened to cut my electric off and send the debt collectors round, and I wasn't even getting electricity off them! That also took months to sort out.

Erm, what do I think about tomorrow's Sheffield Star? I think I'd have to be clairvoyant to answer that.

Presumably you mean the account was in credit?

No, we owed money, but every time we offered to pay the balance they said we needn't worry as we could just pay a bit more on the monthly direct debit...
