hiya i am a 19 year old student from sheffield who is curently studying teacher training for primary school children at sheffield hallam university. I am on my summer break til the end of septemeber and therefore wondered if anyone knows of any jobs that are currently available in the sheffield area in childcare. Any info would be great. Thanks.

When looking for childcare jobs, make sure that you check the employers details first. There are some good childcare companies, but some 'questionable ones' as well. If they are OFSTED registered then look on the internet and read their report. For example, one major childcare site in Sheffield has details of a serious incident/complaint in their recent Ofsted report.

Most will be fully staffed for summer, but people drop out so make it clear that you can be ready in very little time (i.e. if someone dropped out on a Tues, you could be there Wed).
