Was just wondering what countries these serials came from.

They were shows like Hidi and others too. I think there was one called 'silus'.

They were (badly) dubbed into English and usually by the same voice artists as all the characters sounded the same on each show.

Dunno the countries they're from (can't be bothered to google them) but just thought I'd add Belle and Sebastian to the list - one boy and his enormous hairy dog :cool:

Belle and Sebastian was either French, Belgian or French Canadian.

I remember this one. I can read German so don't have clue what this site is saying. I am really just interested in their country of origin and wondered if it was eastern block (possibly GDR).

It was surreal. It had a huge floating fish and...a singing, ringing tree and an evil dwarf that scampered around turning people into stone.
It was horrible, pray that it never returns!
