A tale of what happens when madness, genius and obsessiveness meets novelty leisurewear.

Based on a true story...

This is:

The Anthropomorhiary Incident. (http://sheffieldwriters.ath.cx/SFStoryArchive/1154005875.doc)

A bizarre cross between Robert Rankin and Jasper Fforde

Very Good

Yet another brilliant piece of work. The standard is very high in this section of the forum, and the idea of a book of stories springs to mind.

A tale of what happens when madness, genius and obsessiveness meets novelty leisurewear. With an intro like that, how can it fail? :hihi:

Sir_Nigel, I have read it today, as promised. What can I say without going "over the top"?

Simply magnificent.

A real "star" in the making!. It's innovative, beautifully written and just the right length.....it leaves me wanting more of the same.

I can assure everyone reading this that I am not just gushing like a member of the "false" luvvies of the literati classes.

Well, I’ve read that story several times now and I can only conclude that the author is emulating William Burrough’s opiate technique when he wrote ‘Naked Lunch’

As an experiment I may read it when NOT sober to see if it makes sense then :)

A question that springs to mind and I’m surprised no one has already asked this: How on earth can it be based on a true story?

An explanation is in order Sir_Nigel!
