Friends have been there + they've said its really good, they give you games + stuff to play, then just take photos randomly, when you are involved in something, so its natural, not posed. Great for kids portraits - if you prefer a natural smile, to a stiff posed one.

One of my friends had some done with her dog, they look really cool. I can't remember if they came out to her house or whether they did them in the studio.

I guess it would be better for kids, coz adults might feel a bit silly + awkward trying not to look at the camera!

I think its quite expensive tho

They also make great use of high key photgraphy and digital printing for modern candid photography, a million miles from Olan Mills.

If you like that sort of thing.

Personally I think a lot of the pictures they use in their publicity look like a particular kind of garish photography much abused in cheap fashion supplements and catalogues.

But given a choice between this and the family sat stiffly on a sheepskin rug with a faithful (stuffed) labrador, I would go with candid photography everytime

It's hugely expensive though.

I took my little boy a few months ago, it was nice to have the photo session, and they really know how to make you feel comfortable.

The best bit though is viewing the pictures on the big screen, like a miniature cinema

I got a voucher for a free picture. I doubt i would have gone otherwise, as i think pictures are something like £125 for a desk size one.

Picture was ok, very natural but nothing special

i went with my family, my mum had got a money off voucher the pictures look very good would recomend it

Its very expensive for what they do,imo,really do think you can get good candid photos for a fraction of the price if you shop around.Think its the way venture markets itself that appears so impressive,(do know someone who worked for them).
They didnt agree with some of the sales techniques used so they left.
