I was going to Great Yarmouth on holiday, it would be about 1971 and I met a group who were in the charts at the time with Tom Tom Turnaround.
I met them at Midland Station and got there autographs and went to see them in concert as they to were going to Gt Yarmouth.
On the bill was Freddie and the Dreamers and many more who I can't remember, and it was hosted by Freddie "Parrot faced" Davies.
Anyone remember New world and what became of them.

i remember "new world" fuzzy dave or was it john??? signed me his autograph when i saw him wandering around matlock bath years ago!!! they won on "opportunity knocks"

They were from Australia. Perhaps they've gone back there as I've never heard of them since.

Tom Tom was one of fave records as a kid.....reminds me of the long hot summer of 71..
