My eldest has just answerd the telephone to a tirade of swearing and abuse.The culprit however was not intelligent enough to withhold the number, how can I find out who provides the service from the number so I can call the mobile company and complain? I have the number for reporting annoying calls but would like to contact the service provider my self as I am very mad :rant:

If you call your own helpline and pass them the number then they should trace it.
Im sure they can do that.

There is an Excel File HERE (http://www.ofcom.org.uk/telecoms/ioi/numbers/numbers_administered/s7.xls) on the OfCom site that lists the 4 digits from 7000 to 7999 and the provider to which they have been allocated.

i.e. (0)7904 = T-mobile.

Just remember that with number porting, thats not a definitive list...

I would spread their number on every bulletin board and every admag and every telephone box, get others to hassle them for you.
