Folded in half three times, it makes a nice wedge to hold a door open, or stops a wobbly table rocking if shoved under the shortest leg. Bloodt things drive me nuts !:hihi: goldenfleece 24-07-2006, 09:01 We used to get them all the time...never returned any of them and always left a note on the door telling them to get stuffed....they finally got the message...they sell utter complete useless crap at inflated stupid prices and all the stuff you can get at the pound shop anyway.... Yellowrose 16-01-2007, 13:01 You can buy online cant you? Mind you, there is probably a delivery charge. fox20thc 16-01-2007, 14:56 The last time I had a betterware book shoved through my letterbox I promptly put it outside the door to be collected. (don't need any spider traps or tin can stackers thank you very much ;) ) Somebody must have nicked it, I had the bw rep banging on the door demanding the book back, after much arguing I pointed out that once it was posted it was mine to do with what I like and if I want to bin it I can. If they don't want to lose the precious books they should read the note in the door that says no canvassers or crappy books including avon/betterware and Kleeneeze  poppins 16-01-2007, 15:11 You can buy online cant you? NEVER! ricdavsoc 29-04-2008, 00:51 I have just started doing Betterware round Oughtibridge, I am now getting about £200 per week in sales and get about £40 commission. The thing that gets me annoyed is when people don't leave the catalogue out for collection, don't answer the door or claim they can't find it or never had it. Surely it's not too much trouble to leave the catalogue out - it takes far longer collecting catalogues than delivering them. Surely it's not too much trouble to leave the catalogue out - it takes far longer collecting catalogues than delivering them. RDS I think people are just tired of the barrage of unsolicited mail, pizza flyers, e-mail, sales phone-calls, etc that we get these days. When it comes to stuff being put through their doors that they've not requested, it's just not a high priority to go to any trouble whatsoever: a lot of people just file it into the bin, with all the other stuff. If the only unsolicited mail that popped through the door was the odd Betterware catalogue, maybe people would be happy to put it out as requested, but it's not- we live in a world of spam- people just get fed up with dealing with it. Same with answering the door- there's packs of people roaming from door-to-door trying to get you to change energy-suppliers, convert you to some religion or other, buy this, buy that, etc: if you're busy doing something, it gets to the point where you don't bother answering the door unless you're expecting someone, cos 9 times out of 10, it's going to be someone trying to sell something you don't want. |
